South Korea ‘Legalizes’ Cryptocurrency Trading, Bans Anonymity

In recent statements, the country’s Financial Services Commission (FSC) confirmed that the trade should only allow customer transactions that match its bank account. Foreign citizens, indigenous and non-indigenous, cannot trade.

I have never seen such a war against anything else that is marketed in open markets. South Korea said it banned cryptocurrency to prevent trade in children and criminals. They said that. Quote “The measures are designed to prevent Bitcoin children and criminals from acting in a country that has adopted the digital currency amid its rapid increase in prices.”

South Korean lawmakers have confirmed that the exchange of cryptocurrencies on January 30 will become legal when they enact new laws on anonymity in commerce.
